Real time clock oscillator product portfolio with an extremely wide continuous operating temperature range from -55°C to 250°C

MSC now offers the High Temperature Real Time Clock (HT RTC) product portfolio from Vectron. The new low power HT RTC oscillators were specifically designed for use in extreme environment applications. Compared to a traditional RTC solution with 32.768 KHz tuning fork resonator design, the HT RTC solution provides unsurpassed reliability with long lifetime and a continuous operating temperature range from -55°C to 250°C.

A stability of ±100 ppm over the entire operating temperature range, a high shock resistance of up to 3.000 g and a high vibration resistance of 80 grms make the HT RTC oscillators ideal for use in a wide range of applications in the geophysical services, high temperature industrial process control, avionics and engine control sectors.

The HT RTC oscillators from Vectron are available in three industrial standard package footprints 5x7mm SMD, 8×8.5mm leaded and ½ DIL, for satisfying both through-hole mount and surface mount requirements. The oscillators are free of lead and compliant to EC RoHS directive.
