Fox Electronics recently released the new compact 3.3-volt F32K 32.768 kHz oscillator series as an expansion to its HCMOS oscillator offerings. The F32K oscillators draw a mere 1.5 µA of current and 250 nA of standby current, making them ideal for a wide variety of applications including real time clocks (RTCs), microcontroller sub clocks, sleep mode clocks and watchdog timer clocks.
The new HCMOS oscillators come in a small 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm package and offer stabilities of +10 ppm to -90 ppm across a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C and +10 ppm to -140 ppm across -40°C to +85°C.

Fox's new RoHS-compliant SMD oscillators feature a usable supply voltage of 1.5 volts to 5.5 volts (3.3 volts ±10% standard). Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C and storage temperature is -55°C to 125°C. At 25°C, frequency tolerance is +5 ±20 ppm. The HCMOS oscillators feature a gold termination finish.
