Low phase noise VCXO provides -162dBc/Hz noise floor
Featuring close-in phase noise which has been reduced to -85dBc/Hz at 10Hz offset, Crystek has launched an ultra-low phase noise LVPECL VCXO providing a -162dBc/Hz noise floor. This overall ultra-low phase noise translates to a typical phase jitter of 85fs (12kHz to 20MHz). According to the manufacturer, the compact and powerful CVPD-922 provides the lowest phase noise for an LVPECL oscillator in the industry.
The CVPD-922, with its extremely low phase noise performance, is suited for applications such as HD Video Broadcast equipment.
