Low-pass filters support 3GPP standards

Distributor Richardson RFPD is shipping two families of low-pass filters from CTS Corporation.

The RLF and XLF series are optimized to support 3GPP standards that require harmonic suppression through fifth-order harmonics.

Both series provide complete solutions for harmonic rejection for wireless infrastructure applications.

The RLF family offers extremely low insertion loss (3 to 5 dB, max.) and superior close-in rejection/attenuation. They are suitable for up to 20 W of average power and 200 W of peak modulated power.

The XLF family offers a uniquely small-size (6.5 mm x 5 mm x 2 mm) and low insertion loss. They are suitable for systems of up to 6 W of average output power per antenna port.

Additional key benefits of these high-performance low-pass filters include:

  • Wide temperature ranges with tight stability and long-term reliability
  • Ideal to clean-up reentrant modes of duplexers and bandpass filters
  • Optimal additions to clean-up transmitter and receiver system solution needs
