The Crystals for wireless applications range produced by special distributor PETERMANN-TECHNIK comprise SMD quartz solutions for wireless ISM band (315 – 915 MHz) applications which have a plethora of uses including garage door openers, heating cost meters, water meters, facility management, home automation, wireless security systems, keyless locking systems, etc.

The cost-effective SMD quartz crystal from the HC-49/US-SMD series is mainly used, which can also be supplied with three solder pads (central pin for earthing). By using the 3-pin quartz crystal version, the quartz crystal's EMC performance can be significantly improved. Frequency tolerances in the range of +-10 - +-15 ppm are mainly used but frequency tolerances from +-8 ppm at 25°C and +-8 ppm over a temperature range of –5/+70°C is also available.

Of course, the SMD quartz crystal in the HC-49/US-SMD series can also be supplied in an extended temperature range of –40/+125°C and can be qualified on the basis of the AECQ200REV.C automotive standard.
If the SMD quartz crystal in the HC-49/US-SMD series is too large, SMD quartz crystals in miniaturised ceramic housings are available to the developer in 7x5mm, 6x3.5mm, 5x3.2mm and 3.2x2.5mm versions.

In addition, the PETERMANN-TECHNIK specialists' service catalogue offers application analyses, circuit analyses, circuit development, circuit simulations and design in support as technical added value. The applications engineer “Wireless applications ISM band” specialises among other things in the development of wireless modules, antenna adjustments, existing wireless module optimisations, etc. With a highly qualified range of services, PETERMANN-TECHNIK wants to contribute towards its customers’ success.
