RFMW is now offering design and sales support for a positive slope gain block from CML Microcircuits.

The CMX9G301 is a low-power, 50 Ω cascadable MMIC gain block for 1.4 to 7.1 GHz applications.

+1 dB of positive gain-slope across the band eliminates the need for equalisation and compensates for increasing system losses with frequency.

Highly integrated, the device minimises component count and board area.

RF ports are matched to 50 Ω with DC-blocking capacitors.

An active bias circuit allows the device to operate over a wide supply voltage of 2.7 to 5V with typical current of 20 mA.

GaAs pHEMT fabrication provides a combination of low DC power, low noise and high gain.
