The SC cut crystal provides a frequency range from 4 to 15MHz and standard frequencies of 5, 10 and 15MHz. This ultra-stable device is specifically targeted at the stringent frequency stability requirements needed for CDMA2000 and UTMS basestations and related test and measurement equipment. Temperature operating range is 0 to 70oC and temperature stabilities are down to 0.2ppb.
For more general purpose base stations, synthesisers, test equipment and digital switching applications, Vectron’s C4550 oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) is now available in a lower cost, more compact 25 x 25mm package. Fitted with an LPP TO-8 crystal, this high stability device delivers better aging and g-sensitivity characteristics and improved temperature test performance.
The available frequency range of the C4550 is 5 to 100MHz. The range is offered in either AT or optionally SC cut crystal types. Standard frequencies are: 10, 12.8, 13, 16.384, 20, 32.768 and 100MHz. Temperature stabilities are down to 5ppb across the temperature range from -40 to 85oC. The proven performance of the TO-8 crystal achieves typical aging rates of 30ppb/year and g-sensitivities less than 1ppb/g.
Both devices are fully RoHS compliant, and available now on a 10 to 12week delivery. Prices for the C4550 are around £100 for 100 pieces.
