Ecliptek Introduces Four New 32.768kHz Oscillator Series

Ecliptek Corporation has announced the latest additions to its family of ceramic surface mount crystal clock oscillators. These new products strengthen Ecliptek’s extensive offering of quartz and MEMS based frequency control products.
The new EB13K5 and EB13K7 (3.3Vdc) and EB15K5 and EB15K7 (2.5Vdc) series CMOS oscillators are available in a variety of configurations including frequency stabilities as low as ±20ppm maximum and an operating temperature range as wide as -40°C to +85°C. Tri-state (high impedance) and 50±5 (%) duty cycle series are standard in these new series.

The use of an AT cut quartz crystal resonator in the design of these oscillator series allows for superior frequency stability performance over a wide temperature range, said Thomas Culhane, Vice President of Engineering at Ecliptek.

These Ecliptek SMD oscillator series offer clocking solutions for industrial controls, office equipment, consumer electronics, portable instrumentation, and other general purpose real time clock (RTC) applications at a competitive price.
