Current sense amplifiers boast 1.8 MHz bandwidth

In stock at authorised distributor DigiKey are the Analog Devices AD8412A series current sense amplifiers.

They feature an initial gain of 10 V/V, a 1.8 MHz bandwidth, and a maximum ±0.11% gain error over the entire temperature range.

The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with any typical converter.

These high-voltage, high-bandwidth current sense amplifiers have a minimum DC common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 110 dB from -2 V to +50 V.

This series performs bidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of industrial and automotive applications.

The AD8412A offers breakthrough performance throughout the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is available in an 8-lead mini small outline package (MSOP).

It features an in-package trim core which leads to a typical offset drift of ±0.30 µV/°C throughout the operating temperature range and the common-mode input voltage range.

This design operates without the need for chopping or autozero clocks, which can lead to intermodulation in the application.

The AD8412A includes circuitry to achieve a wide input common-mode range, balanced input bias currents, and ultra-low CMRR drift, regardless of the input differential voltage. This circuitry also ensures output accuracy in the presence of pulse-width modulation (PWM) type common-mode voltages.
