The XU devices are available in LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL and HCMOS outputs, with operating voltages of 3.3, 2.5 or 1.8V. Offered in 7×5 or 5×3.2mm packages, the crystal oscillators feature frequency stabilities as low as ±20ppm and operate across a temperature range of -40 to +85ºC.

“The XU and XL crystal oscillators are IDT’s response to the increasingly stringent jitter requirements resulting from higher data throughput in serial IO technologies,” commented Dave Shepard, Vice President and General Manager, Timing and RF Division, IDT. “Our oscillators offer designers a reliable and economical solution to address the growing challenges of frequency control.”
