MSC now offers the new 508 series of low G-sensitivity clocks and oscillators from Vectron International. Each product in the new line is provided in an extremely small 9 x 14 mm package.
The devices are available as XO, VCXO and TCXO versions and do not fall under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A rugged crystal is mounted on the substrate with four connection points. This construction makes products of the 508 series ideal for use in military, industrial and other applications that demand a very high resistance to accelerations in an extremely harsh environment.
The PX-508 (XO version), VX-508 (VCXO version) and TX-508 (TCXO version) offer a stability of ±40 ppm over an extremely wide temperature range from -55°C to +105°C. A stability of ±15 ppm is guaranteed over an operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C.
