Two FMC (VITA 57.1) mezzanine sites enable ADC, DAC, general IOs, sFPDP or additional FMC modules, including a four channel 1300MSPS at 12-bit ADC FMC. Eight of these channels can be supported and synchronised. The MTCA.4 enables the use of high speed connected Rear Transition modules and high resolution signal acquisition channels, available on the front panel.
Virtex-7 FPGA features an MTCA.4 form factor
An Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA processing engine has been released by Interface Concept, in partnership with Deustsches Elektronen-Synchotron Research Centre (DESY). The MTCA.4 IC-FEP-TCAa, which features 36 Serdes transceivers, is particularly suitable for demanding digital signal processing applications.
