TTI introduces MEC high performance tactile switches

TTI has announced that it will continue to broaden its customer offer of specialist components with the addition of MEC (an APEM group company) modular switches to the TTI portfolio. The MEC range of modular products will provide customers with an extensive choice in reliable, robust and aesthetically designed high performance tactile switches.

MEC is a specialist in high-end PCB mount push button switches for custom solutions in a wide variety of sectors, including high end professional electronics, audio-visual, industrial automation, medical, military, security and transport.

TTI will distribute the broad selection of MEC products under the new agreement that includes the Unimec, Multimec and Ultramec product ranges in Europe. MEC modular switches are designed for ultimate sustainability; to tolerate at least ten million operations and sealed to meet the requirements of IP67 specifications.

The Multimec 5 series offers the largest selection with a host of standard accessories - three actuation force options (2.0, 3.0 and 6.5), as well as NO (normally open) and NC/NO (normally closed/normally open) options. The entire accessory range also provides designers with thousands of standard options in a multitude of surface shapes, colours, legends, illumination options, panel sealing levels and behind panel heights.
