RJS Electronics touchless infrared switch range
With the current global pandemic, the way we navigate through our day is changing and there is an increasing demand for innovative hygienic solutions. RJS Electronics has launched their latest series, RJS-TL, a range of touchless infrared switches. This series is designed to offer an alternative to the traditional push button switch, supporting engineers and designers facing this challenge.
The RJS-TL touchless infrared switch has a 28mm cut-out diameter, with a zero to ten centimetre sensing distance (zero to 15cm on adjustable version).
The product is simple and easy to install with no programming required. Power of 12-24V with a momentary operation, this switch has a high current and switches a relay capable of 3a.
In addition, this supports a bi-colour LED status indicator, signalling when in use.
This touchless series is available with mounting plate if required, select from brushed steel or aluminium material.
The RJS-TL series is ideal for a wide range of commercial and domestic applications. For example, door entry and security, retail fittings and traffic light control. The use of touchless technology places the safety of the users at the forefront. Since introducing the series, RJS has seen a high number of enquires within their first week of supply, with a fast turnaround from sample to order.
