This latch and switch is optimised for rotational speed and direction sensing in automotive motor systems.
It provides ultimate configurability with a 90° phase shift for a pitch-independent magnetic design.
The device enables PCB-less module designs without needing external passive components, saving space and total module cost for automotive and industrial applications.
Furthermore, the MLX92352 withstands 15 kV HBM and 8 kV System ESD and delivers high EMC robustness.
Typical applications for the Melexis MLX92352 include linear speed and direction control for power lift gates and incremental rotary encoding for e-bike cadence sensors and fan and pump motors.
