Display specialist and brand license partner for Philips monitors, MMD, has launched the Philips 499P9H Brilliance 32:9 SuperWide curved LCD display. This 49” monitor provides professional users with performance-enhancing features to make working more efficient. Equipped with an expansive 32:9 SuperWide screen and ultra-high resolution, the Philips 499P9H delivers high graphics on a large format that is the equivalent of two full-size monitors.

This monitor features convenient USB-C docking, which offers the benefit of high-speed data transfer and flexible connectivity, as well as a pop-up webcam and environmentally-friendly design.

The format of the Philips 499P9H is an 1800r curved display that mirrors the natural shape of the eye and subtly wraps around the user. The 499P9H provides 49” of workspace, just like having two 27" 16:9 Quad HD displays placed side-by-side. To accommodate additional set-up scenarios, a built-in MultiClient Integrated KVM switch works with the Multi-View function to allow users to manage two separate devices at the same time with a single keyboard and mouse.

Dual Quad HD (5,120x1,440) resolution means higher pixel density and greater detail, while VESA-certified HDR 400 technology provides sharp colouring with depth and nuance. Philips’ VA LED display relies on an advanced vertical alignment technology that delivers high static contrast ratios, resulting in crisp images from any viewing angle.

With the modern workplace requiring ever-greater flexibility, dynamism, and adaptability, today’s professionals need hardware that can keep up. The Philips 499P9H aims to meet this need with an array of innovative features that help users get the most out of their workday. A built-in USB 3.1 type-C docking station with power delivery hopes to boost productivity for professionals on the go.

With high-speed USB 3.1 technology, data transfer is faster, and the reversible USB-C connector allows for easy, one-cable docking. Peripherals as well as notebooks may be plugged directly into the monitor. A secure wired connection can be provided to notebooks without any separate cable thanks to the monitor’s built-in RJ45 port.

The monitor includes a handy pop-up webcam equipped with Windows Hello facial recognition, which can be tucked away when not in use. The Philips 499P9H monitor also offers users a multitude of visualisation solutions including Flicker-Free technology and LowBlue Mode, as well as effective ergonomic features such as a height-adjustable stand with swivel and tilt functions and a VESA mount.

The Philips 499P9H is available with an RRP of £989.00.
