TFTs boast 80° viewing angle & consistent color reproduction
Two 4.3” IPS (In-Plane Switching) TFTs have been added to Newhaven Display's existing display line. The displays feature extra-wide viewing angles with consistent color reproduction, which is achieved by the horizontal arrangement of the liquid crystals that allows the backlight to easily pass through the liquid crystals without twisting and refracting.
These TFTs also have fast response times, wide operating temperatures, are RoHS compliant, and are offered with and without resistive touch panels. They are the perfect match for any visually demanding application that requires a broader viewing angle. The displays feature a 16-bit 8080 mode parallel MPU interface, as well as a built in HX8369 controller. Boasting 16.7 million colours and a 480 x 800 resolution, the displays have a 80° viewing angle and 8-LED backlight. Additionally, the displays offer a portrait mode and can come with or without resistive touch.
