TFT displays target medical applications

The new G150XNE, 15-inch (38 cm) TFT display family from Innolux has expanded Avnet Embedded’s product portfolio. The high-quality panels implement the MVA technology, which ensures a wide symmetric viewing angle of 88 degrees from all directions. The displays operate in normally black mode to reduce bright dots.

The G150XNE family consists of the three models G150XNE-L01 with 500cd/m² brightness and LVDS interface, G150XNE-L02 with 350cd/m² and embedded DisplayPort (eDP), and G150XNE-L03 with 300cd/m² and LVDS. The displays provide an XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with 8-bit colour depth. The contrast ratio is 2500:1.

The LED backlight has a specified lifetime of 70,000 hours and is controlled by the integrated LED driver.

The three displays are compatible to the PSWG (Panel Standard Working Group) standard for an easy design-In. The active area (W x H) is 304.1 x 228.1mm and the module outline dimensions are 326.5 x 253.5mm.

The extended operating temperatures range from -30° to +80°C (G150XNE-L01) and from -20° to +70°C for the L02 and L03 types.

Innolux guarantees a long-term availability of the G150XNE displays of five years as of series production start.

The high-quality 15in (38cm) TFT displays are characterised by outstanding price/performance and are especially suited for industrial and medical applications.
