Mantracourt announce 100mm wireless LED display

Mantracourt has today introduced a new large format LED display that has been designed to integrate into their highly respected T24 wireless instrumentation product range. A four digit display with 100 mm (4 inch) character format, the T24-LD1 enables the remote display of instrumentation data from multiple wireless sensors such as strain gauges, load cells and wind speed sensors.

Dave Porter, Technical Sales at Mantracourt, comments: “Until now, data from the T24 wireless sensors has been mostly logged on a PC for collection and analysis or displayed on one of our handheld device. More recently we have seen a demand for a larger more visible, rugged display, hence the development of the T24-LD1 which is now available as a part of the T24 range.”

The T24-LD1 display is ideal for application use in process control, lifting and handling, waste management, civil engineering, agriculture and silo management.

The Mantracourt T24 wireless telemetry range is a flexible low power radio system designed to enable the transmission of high accuracy measurement data from load cells, inclinometers, accelerometers, temperature, displacement and pressure sensors. With a combination of transmitter and receiver technologies, engineers are able to remotely monitor instrumentation readings.

Using the T24 PC based T24-Toolkit software and T24 USB Base Station the user can quickly and easily select and configure the acquisition devices to be summed on the T24-LD1 display. The T24 Toolkit also provides advanced user control over the wireless aspects of the system as well as a ‘System Zero’ function, a Tare function and ability to display data from a single sensor.

“Wireless instrumentation is enabling engineers to undertake measurement and control in ways that were not possible before. Whether it is rotating machinery, equipment located in a hazardous area such as a construction site, a temporary installation that would not justify permanent wiring, or even difficult to access locations, our T24 range is enabling engineers around the world to take a new approach to how they can use instrumentation in the field,” concluded Porter.

Key features:

  • Large screen with four digit LED display,
  • 100 mm (4″) character format,
  • 200 m (650 ft) range,
  • Wired Logic Inputs allow the user to remotely control tare and net/gross toggle functions,
  • Configured to operate wirelessly using a 2.4 GHz Worldwide Licence exempt radio frequency,
  • Units conversion using output scaling e.g. kgs to lbs,
  • Simple configuration via PC using a base station with telemetry Toolkit software,

Suitable for crane or weighing applications.
