The 29-inch 1920×540 is available in 500 cd/m² brightness (LTI290LN01) with a 1000 cd/m² brightness version coming within 2016. Both brightness versions have comparable outline dimensions and an aspect ratio of 32:9.
The 37-inch 1920×540 is available in 700cd/m² (LTI370LN01) and a 1500cd/m² high brightness version will be launched b/Q4 2016. While conventional bar displays are made using machine cut LCD cells, Samsung’s stretched PID panels are made using a native cut cell.
This gives the Samsung panels a significant improvement in quality for issues like broken glass or sealing, micro cracks, light leakage or failures due to transport and/or unsuitable packing.
Due to the uniquedesign Samsung’s stretched PID panels are suitable for a range of different applications such as transportation (train or bus), digital signage, retail, kiosks and vending machines.
