Saelig Introduces IP65-Compliant Fanless Touch Panel PC Series

Saelig has introduced the WP-2L Series of IP65-Compliant Fanless Touch Panel PCs. WP-2L Series Panel PCs are VESA-mount controllers, designed especially for harsh environments where corrosive materials are used or where dust, rain, oil or directed water may be present. Built in a fully-sealed six-sided stainless steel enclosure, the external connectors are waterproof (sealed IP65-rated stainless steel) to ensure 100% protection. This high quality industrial touch panel PC series is built with Intel’s Atom D2550 CPU + NM10 chipset on a 3.5” Single Board Computer form factor, with up to 4GB DDR III SODIMM memory. The fanless, low-power, compact design is an ideal solution for tough environments requiring low noise.

Screen sizes from 15” to 19” are available, and IP65-waterproof stainless steel connectors for I/O are located on the bottom of the 15 device and on the rear for 17 and 19 devices (2 x COM port, 1 x LAN, 1 x USB 2.0 with other options possible). Internal expansion includes 1 x CF card socket, 1 x Mini PCIe slot, 2 x SATA, allowing users expanded functionality for applications requiring special I/O or more memory. WP-2L Touch Panel PCs are powered by an external 12VDC supply (a fully IP65-compliant supply is optionally available) in an operating environment of 32°F to 113°F. Compatible operating systems include Windows 7 Pro or Windows Embedded 7.

WP-2L Series industrial touch panel PCs are suitable for a wide range of general situations subject to damage from water, oil and dust, such as equipment monitoring, control and data processing, industrial or building automation, food and drug manufacturing, marine and land transportation, medical and healthcare applications, etc.
