Designed for use in human-machine interface applications, IPS display technology delivers colour saturation and image stability, high contrast and deep black levels with 176° wide viewing angles (vertical and horizontal). The 10.1” display features a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and a white LED backlight with a brightness rating of 1000cd/m², built-in dimming control, and a specified 70K hour half-brightness lifetime. These attributes ensure that display images are colourful, crisp and bright.
Jason Tsai, Marketing Manager, KOE, said: “KOE’s latest high resolution 10.1” display employs in-plane switching technology, which is renowned for providing exceptional optical performance with highly consistent colour reproduction and wide viewing angles. Additionally, our Rugged+ displays have been specifically developed to have robust mechanical, electrical and environmental characteristics that are highly resistant to vibration, shock, electro-static discharge and temperature changes.”
The 20-pin LVDS data interface supports eight-bit RGB which enables a colour palette of up to 16.7M colours. The 10.1” display module has mechanical outline dimensions of 231×153.5×11.1mm and an active display area of 217.3×135.8mm. An operating temperature range of -30 to +85°C and storage temperature range of -40 to +90°C is supported.
The optical and environmental specifications of KOE’s Rugged+ display modules are derived from the same demanding standards employed in automotive specification display modules. The 10.1” Rugged display has been designed and developed for use under extreme temperature, mechanical shock and vibration environments where guaranteed and consistent display operation is essential.
KOE’s Rugged+ TFT display modules are suitable for use in high reliability industrial, process control, in-vehicle, medical, digital signage, aerospace and marine applications. The new 10.1” Rugged+ TX26D207VM0AAA TFT display module is available immediately from KOE’s sales channel distribution partners.
