Rapid expands range of Edison high power LEDs
Rapid has recently extended its range of power LED products from the pioneering Taiwan-based Edison Opto Corp. Over one hundred lines are now available, ex-stock, ranging from the competitively priced 1W Edixeon stars and emitters through to the 700 lumens 20W EdiPower devices. All are available in red, green and blue, white and warm white.
In addition to these components, a range of ready-made solutions are available in the form of metal clad PCBs. Strips and circular boards populated with white and RGB devices offer a simplified route to applying LED technology into lighting designs.
Furthermore Rapid’s range includes retrofit MR-16 lamps, 5W EdiPower devices mounted in an aluminium housing which can be used in place of halogen dichroic lamps. These lamps offer savings to the user in terms of reduced power consumption, increased product lifetime (reduced maintenance costs) and shock resistance.
The new Edison devices are supported by an extensive choice of secondary optics, and of course by the compliment of Rapid’s LED drivers, microcontrollers, thermal management solutions, enclosures and tools.
