With our Field Sequential Color (FSC) display technology we display individual segments in up to seven colors (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow and also black). FSC LCD supports special driver ICs as well integrated RGB LED backlights. The IC controls both, by a synchronized driving method, in order to provide simple color programming for each individual segment. FSC LCDs are ideally suited for applications that are changing from monochromatic to low cost color display alternatives. This is a possibility to upgrade the product appearance.
Applications include alarm clocks, remote control units, industrial meter units, home appliance control units, as well as medical devices.
