LED’s wavelength improves signal detection
Mouser Electronics is now stocking the FIREFLY E1608 CH DELSS1.22 LED from ams OSRAM.
This Light Emitting Diode (LED) is designed specifically for SpO2 applications.
It features a special narrow wavelength of 665 nm to improve signal detection, thin film chip technology, and 120° typical radiation (Lambertian emitter).
The LED operates between -40°C to +85°C temperature range and is available in a compact 0.8 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.6 mm package, ideal for space-constrained designs.
Applications include SpO2 applications, health monitoring, heart rate monitoring, pulse oximetry, and fitness tracking.
