GPEG International Introduces a new 7inch WSVGA TFT with LED backlight

The new 7 inch Wide SVGA 800x600 TFT display module, from GPEG International, features a product availability lifetime of a minimum of three years, a high brightness long life LED backlight, excellent contrast ratio and an extended operating temperature range of -20C to +80C.

This new display is particularly suitable for use in equipment that requires excellent readability while operating under harsh climatic conditions. These include outdoor and industrial applications such as portable information terminals, test equipment, industrial plant and machinery and access-control systems.

The 800xRGBx6000 pixels (Wide SVGA) TFT LCD module uses transmissive LCD technology and an LED backlight to achieve typical brightness levels of 450cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 250:1.

A wide left-right viewing angle of 160 degrees further underlines the display's adaptability in real-world industrial applications.

Capable of displaying up to 262K colours, the display features an integrated LVDS interface. The module has an active area of 1141.6 x 106.20 mm contained within its overall dimensions of 154.0 x 119.2 x 9.60mm.
