Polariser type, interface options – including serial, RGB, CPUI and I2C – touchscreen type and backlight arrangement are just some of the display elements that can be customised as part of the new service. In addition, Anders can also customise mechanical aspects of the design including the bezel, the position of external connections and the type and length of cable.
Rob Anders, the Anders Electronics CEO, states: “This new service is a key element in our drive to go beyond simply supplying product and to provide application-optimised displays that truly enhance the user machine relationship. In the past, sourcing custom and semi-custom TFT modules has only been commercially viable for applications with higher volume production runs. The new Anders service, however, provides a much more cost-effective approach, making it viable for even low volume manufacture.”
