There is an ever-increasing demand for high-performance displays in rugged industrial applications – from digital signage and medical imaging to gaming and transportation.

However, traditional display cards can be bulky, power-hungry, and difficult to integrate into small or custom form factor systems. Cervoz offers a display solution with the M.2 2280 LVDS Display Card, MEC-DIS-271L.

Harness the speed, efficiency and noise immunity of LVDS

The MEC-DIS-271L utilises LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signalling) interface to deliver compelling benefits. LVDS can transmit data at high speeds, making it suitable for applications that require fast data transmission, such as video data for high-resolution displays. It also operates at low voltage levels, resulting in lower power consumption compared to other data transmission standards. Additionally, LVDS uses differential signalling to improve noise immunity when transmitting data.

Flexible integrate displays without reconfiguring systems

The new Cervoz MEC-DIS-271L packs a powerful display capability punch into the compact M.2 2280 form factor. The module-based design also enables flexible display expansion without overhauling existing system boards. For industrial single-board computer (SBC) users, this card eliminates headaches around space, power, and extensibility.

Universal 3.3V/5V panel power support

An advantage of the MEC-DIS-271L is its support for both 3.3V and 5V panel power, selectable via build-in switch. This universal power capability makes the card compatible with a wider range of industrial display panels.

Robust and reliable for demanding environments

Built with industrial-grade components, the MEC-DIS-271L withstands shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures from –40°C to 85°C. It supports LVDS connections up to 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz, with a 128-bit graphics engine and build in 256MB DDR3 memory for smooth Full HD video. The card works reliably in harsh conditions – ideal for large/small LCDs and peripherals that require high bandwidth, such as high-definition graphics and fast frame rates as well as used in industrial PCs.
