AIS Releases a 15 Rugged Railway Display Monitor

American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), introduces a 15 IP67 Sealed LCD Display for superior performance in wet, dusty, rugged, and humid environments. It meets EN 50155 and MIL-810F Environmental Engineering Standards for the highest level of performance in railway applications. The Outdoor display features a high brightness display, capable of performing in direct sunlight applications. Additional HMI touchscreen integration is an available option, enhancing the versatility of the display, doubling as a user input terminal for point of sale, communication, and monitoring. Enhance protection against railway shock & vibration are designed into the ruggedized housing. The rugged weatherproof display opens up opportunities to introduce touchscreen LCD displays into DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) & EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) applications that were previously impossible.

The IP67 LCD display is encased in a waterproof and dustproof anti-corrosive aluminum enclosure, ensuring complete all-weather protection including the rear I/O connectors. Additionally the rugged display is compliant with Military 810F Environmental Engineering standards for shock and vibration. Wide Temperature modules are available, allowing the display to operate in extreme temperatures of up to -20C to 60C ambient conditions.

VESA standard mounting holes are available on the unit for easy deployment into any installation. Whether your application requires a commercial off the shelf (COTS) unit, or a fully customized Weatherproof Display, AIS has the flexibility to meet your requirement.
