Zytronic have revealed that it will unveil its latest innovation in multi-touch technology for self-service and unattended touchscreen applications at Integrated Systems Europe 2014. Visitors to the Zytronic stand at ISE will be able to see a demonstration of the company's new touch controller technology incorporated into a fully functioning 55-inch touch table.

A further addition to its proprietary MPCT projected capacitive product portfolio, the new touch controller technology was developed to enable improvements in operational performance on ultra-large format MPCT touchscreens (above 55-inches in size). Demonstrating MPCT’s unique ability to be implemented in a wide variety of designs, including on curved surfaces, a second live demo will feature a 32-inch convex screen with multi-touch.

Ian Crosby, Sales & Marketing Director at Zytronic, comments: “The interactive digital signage market is important to Zytronic and ISE is a key event in this field. Attendees to the show will have the perfect opportunity to interact with our latest multi-touch technology and experience the raised level of precision we added to this versatile and extremely robust offering. These two demos underline Zytronic’s strength in the digital signage sector and our ability to integrate cutting-edge interactivity into rugged, ultra-large displays designed for deployment in public areas.”

Zytronic’s new controller combines innovative electronic design with updated firmware containing the company's latest touch detection algorithms. Significantly boosting the density of touch data captured by the screen, the new touch controller increases touch resolution, whilst still maintaining millisecond response times. This makes it possible to quickly distinguish between touch points that are closer than ever before, even on the largest MPCT touchscreens.
