An updated version of Tracealyzer, visualisation and analysis technology developed by Percepio, has been released. Version 2.7 Tracealyzer supports Linux, VxWorks, FreeRTOS and On Time RTOS-32 and can be purchased with floating licenses, enabling several users to share a license. To meet the requirements of both small and large teams, two floating licenses are available. The basic floating license allows for one concurrent user, while the premium license allows for multiple concurrent users.

Making it easier for users to find memory leaks and tasks with large memory usage, the updated version of Tracealyzer displays the dynamic allocation of heap memory in C programmes in three ways, including on a graph. An Event Log window, which displays events in textual form and is colour coded based on event type, accompanies these graphical views.

The recorder library now features demo projects for STM32F4xx on Keil µVision and Rowley Crossworks and supports Microchip’s MPLAB X IDE via a PIC32MX and PIC32MZ plug-in.
