Utah Scientific Chooses Mindspeed’s New SDI Equalizer with Integrated Jitter Cleaner

Mindspeed Technologies announced that Utah Scientific has chosen Mindspeed’s new M21564 adaptive equalizer for its UTAH-100/ Universal Distribution System that combines the cost advantages of distribution amplifiers with the flexibility of a routing switcher in one compact package.

We are excited to be able to use Mindspeed’s new SDI equalizer with integrated jitter cleaner device for our new routing switcher designs, said Jeff Levie, chief technology officer of Utah Scientific. Being the first of its kind, the new equalizer has the potential to dramatically improve equipment design while enabling a new generation of lower power, high-performance routers.
