The latest version (V2.9.48) of Tessy, the tool for automated unit / module / integration testing of embedded software, supports now the debugger from the Eclipse project CDT (C/C++ Development Tooling).
This enables the user to debug test objects under Windows which are compiled using the GNU compiler GCC included in the MinGW (Minimalist GNU for Windows) package. If for instance a test case that did not behave as expected needs to be investigated the user can operate from the familiar Eclipse user interface. Technically, the support is realized by a plug-in provided by the manufacturer of Tessy and which is simply copied into the plug-in directory of an existing Eclipse installation. In addition a readily prepared Eclipse SDK (Software Development Kit) for Tessy is available. It includes CDT and is also provided by the manufacturer of Tessy.

Tessy can be obtained from Hitex Development Tools.
