Freescale introduces StarterTRAK development kits for Qorivva automotive microcontrollers

Shorter development cycles and faster time to market are crucial for Freescale Semiconductor’s automotive electronics customers, particularly in emerging markets. With this in mind, Freescale today announced a new line of development kits, called StarterTRAK, for its Qorivva 32-bit microcontrollers. Three StarterTRAK kits are now available for order.

StarterTRAK kits include a full complement of tools, such as built-in open source debug, schematics and lab examples. StarterTRAK customers can perform comprehensive evaluations on their systems from the experimental phase all the way to the development of applications.

The following StarterTRAK kits are currently available for order:

• TRK-MPC650xB/C for body electronics applications
• TRK-MPC560xP for chassis and motor control applications
• TRK-MPC563xM for powertrain applications

StarterTRAK kits are affordably priced, starting at $99 USD MSRP per kit, and are available to order now from Freescale and its distribution partners. For more information or to place an order, visit www.freescale.com/StarterTRAK.
