Single board computer will be around until 2016

Offering ultra low power usage with a price to match, the new ICOP-6154 PC104 module from Datasound Laboratories is the first of a new generation of added value x86 low end SBCs which will remain in production until 2016 giving designers and their customers the security of using a computer which will be available and fully supported for almost another decade.

The heart of this fully featured module is a 300MHz Vortex86SX processor supported by two USB 2.0 ports and DDR2 RAM yet the power consumption is only 640mA @ 5V with 128MB RAM.

Communications are covered by 10/100 Base-T LAN and three RS232 and one
RS232/422/485 port, plus IDE, LPT and 16-bit GPIO digital I/O interfaces. Designed for use
with either an LCD or CRT display, the ICOP-6154 has an on-board XG Volari Z9s graphics chipset.
