Nexcom launch dual-core fan-less embedded system with 2 PCI Expansion Slots

The NISE Series of Fanless Embedded Systems has been further expanded with the introduction of the NISE 3110-P2, a Core 2 Duo/Core Duo based platform that is capable of supporting two PCI expansion cards in one compact chassis. Featuring Intel’s 945GME and ICH7 Chipsets the NISE 3110-P2 offers users all the advantages of Core 2 Duo/Core Duo technology such as such as impressive levels of performance and amazingly low power consumption in a totally Fan-less, noise-free, maintenance-free Industrial computer system.

With two PCI expansion slots housed in a robust aluminum chassis the new NICE 3110-P2 will find an increased number of applications within Kiosks, POS systems, motion control, access control, network security, industrial automation and many more. For increased flexibility and versatility the NISE 3110-P2 boasts three RS232 ports, one RS232/422/485 port and two PCI expansion Slots.

For data storage, the NISE 3110-P2 provides on Compact Flash socket and one 2.5” HDD drive bay. The system incorporates an ATX mode power feature and can support a wide variety of power supplies from 12 V DC to 30 V DC. Housed in a compact 195mm x 268mm x 107mm heavy duty chassis, the NISE 3110-P2 is designed for reliable, maintenance free industrial computing.
