Technologies AG launches a new integrated development environment (IDE) called AURIX Configuration Studio (ACS). It is designed to streamline development of applications that use AURIX TC3x devices, reducing time-to-market and cost. The ACS is built on the proven DAVE (Digital Application Virtual Engineer) technology and combines an Eclipse-based editor, the GNU C compiler, and an open-source debugger. It offers advanced features such as an intuitive graphical user interface as well as automated resource management and code generation.

“The AURIX Configuration Studio is a significant step forward in our mission to make development easier, faster, and more efficient,” said Christian Feldmann, Vice President Technical Marketing for Automotive Microcontrollers at Infineon. “By providing an intuitive and automated solution for configuring software components and AURIX devices, we empower engineers to focus on what matters most: creating innovation that makes a difference.”

The new IDE simplifies the configuration of modular software components, allowing developers to get started with AURIX application development more efficiently. The ACS’ graphical user interface enables users to configure and customise projects intuitively, reducing the complexity compared with traditional development methods. The framework’s automated resource management, driven by an AI-based solver, automatically assigns and maintains hardware resources, freeing developers from time-consuming, repetitive tasks. Based on the interface settings, the ACS’ tools automatically generate high-quality, production-ready code, minimising manual coding errors.

AURIX Configuration Studio is based on Infineon’s DAVE technology. ACE’s IDE integrates code generation and debugging tools, as well as a wide range of software components such as drivers, middleware, and libraries optimised for Infineon’s hardware. By building on an established technology, Infineon can offer AURIX developers a robust and reliable software development solution with A
