NCA-4025 robust VNF optimised uCPE appliance released

Lanner has announced the release of the NCA-4025, a rackmount network appliance powered by Intel Xeon D-2100 multi-core processor (Codenamed Skylake-D). The NCA-4025 is designed not only to help communication service providers (CommSPs) reduce complexity required by hardware and software integration, but also to accelerate time-to-market deployment of SD-WAN, SD-Security and other SDN/NFV applications.

Featuring eight, 12 or 16-core Intel Xeon D-2100 processors, eight GbE RJ45, four SFP+ and Intel QuickAssist Technology (by SKU) for improved network performance, the NCA-4025 delivers significant performance enhancement in running multiple virtual network functions VNFs in SD-WAN, reduces testing and validation efforts and accelerates time-to-market deployment.

NCA-4025 offers enterprises and small businesses a workload-optimised, easy-to-deploy solution with ecosystem access for delivering a large number of tested and optimised virtual network functions (VNFs).
