Lanner has released the NCA-1516, a desktop network appliance powered by Intel Atom C3000 (codenamed Denverton) CPU. The NCA-1516 is both 5G and Wifi6 ready, its performance is supercharged with Intel’s QuickAssist Technology and Intel AES-NI, offering cryptographic acceleration and commercial-grade LAN functions in a 231x200x44mm form factor.

Intel AtomC3958/C3858/C3758/C3558 CPU and Intel QuickAssist Technology together greatly boost network responsiveness and security by distributing processing power to more critical applications and by offloading computationally intensive compression and encryption/decryption tasks.

For wireless connectivity, the NCA-1516 is capable of supporting both the lightning fast mmWave (millimeter wave) 5G and the slower but more widespread Sub-6GHz 5G; and its Wifi6 capability is both 2.4G and 5G compatible.

For networking communications, the NCA-1516 comes with six GbE RJ45 (two PoE+ optional) and dual 10GbE SFP+.

For expansion, the NCA-1516 delivers one mini-PCIe slot and three M.2 slots and dual nano SIM slots; and while the NCA-1516 is equipped with two cooling fans, there is a fanless variant by request.

Other features include one RJ45 console, two USB 3.0, one 8GB onboard EMMC (by request), up to 64 GB DDR4 2400/2133/1866 MHz memory and support for dual adapters (optional).
