Mouser, CML Microcircuits agree global pact
Mouser Electronics and CML Microcircuits (CML) have signed a global distribution agreement. The deal encompasses CML’s range of RF transceivers, analogue front ends, baseband processing and application-specific microcontrollers which suit all aspects of a wireless voice and data system design.
Ready to buy from Mouser are the CMX901 and CMX902 devices.
These are three-stage wideband, high-gain, and high-efficiency RF power amplifier ICs.
With a high power gain up to 40dB and up to 60% power efficiency, they are ideal for VHF and low UHF radio applications, such as data modules, marine VHF communications, and RF transmitters.
They are also suitable for use in wireless-based Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) systems.Mouser is now stocking four series of CML receiver ICs, including the CMX994 direct conversion receiver. The CMX994 receiver ICs include PowerTrade, which provides the ability to dynamically select power consumption versus performance modes to optimise operating trade-offs.
The CMX994A and CMX994E models feature extended operation of 50MHz to 1218MHz, while the CMX994G offers guaranteed down-converter performance to 30MHz.CML Microcircuits’ wireless packet data modems address a wide range of communications and control applications, offering operation to custom, free format, and packet data systems.
The CMX7164 is a multi-mode wireless data modem that supports multiple modulation schemes and coding systems, all configurable under host control with no external codecs or DSP processing required.
Adaptive Coded Modulation (ACM) features allow modulation type and block format to be changed on the fly to dynamically select the data block size, coding rate and CRC size.
The modem uses CML’s FirmASIC component technology, which provides maximum flexibility and a platform for custom modulation schemes. The SCT2400 is a highly integrated digital radio transceiver based on spread spectrum modulation operating in the 2.4GHz ISM frequency range.
The transceiver is capable of operation over line of sight distances of up to 12km with up to 100mW of output power and can maintain link clarity and security in low-power radio systems.
The device’s low power consumption and security features make it ideal for portable, mobile, and wearable products such as fitness trackers, smart clothing, and wireless headsets.
