IPETRONIK provides a new version [V03.00.00] of its configuration and data acquisition software for download under the designation IPEmotion 2013. One of the most important innovations is the now available illustration of GPS data using the OpenStreetMap Server.
Using this function, user can track and save the vehicle positioning on GPS maps in IPEmotion. The GPS signal is provided by an IPETRONIK data logger, IPEspeed module or a standard GPS receiver. The new GPX file import function allows to download travel routes even before hitting the road. For example, in case of no internet connection during the test trip, the map material can be stored in a local memory before the start of testing.

An additional innovation is the reworked online statistics. FFT analysis is available in all editions and allows the evaluation and separation of signals into valuation classes according to their frequency. The results of this calculation are available for use in tables and histograms.

In IPEmotion 2013 the basic versions provide additional functionality. All plug-ins are now supported throughout all editions. The options “Control” and “Climate Package” are also available for purchase for the Lite and Standard Edition. Besides that, the software update has been essentially improved. All editions can be upgraded to the next newer version for 20 % of the list prices.

The software activation has been considerably simplified. Users can now register online and activate their licenses via one mouse click, Internet access required. Besides the new GPX files, CSV files are also supported for import. AVI video and enhanced export settings for MDF export are some of the new export formats but limited in the amount of channels depending on the edition. The also improved CANdb-Import/Export now supports channel names consisting of more than 32 characters.

IPEmotion 2013 in combination with IPETRONIK’s Sx-STG and Mx-SENS modules now supports bridge and offset adjust for quicker and easier channel configuration.
