AAEON today introduced the IMBM-Q67A, a 2nd Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 Micro-ATX motherboard with RAID level 0,1,5 and 10 support for increased data storage reliability and performance. Fourteen USB 2.0 ports offer expansive connectivity and the system can be configured to use a SATA or USB port for a boot device.
The IMBM-Q67A supports Intel Active Management Technology, enabling IT managers to have options for remote configuration, power management and system security.

As a full featured Micro-ATX motherboard, the IMBM-Q67A is an ideal platform for video surveillance, storage and high-resolution digital signage applications. The Intel Q67 chipset continues to push innovation with an architecture designed to deliver performance, quality and industry-leading I/O technologies on platforms powered by the dual-core/quad-core Intel Core i-series processors, enabling smart security, cost saving manageability and intelligent performance for business platforms.

The IMBM-Q67A features support for fourteen USB 2.0, and Intel High Definition Audio and Full HD graphics. In addition to this, the S/PDIF digital audio port sets the stage for engaging multi-channel sound while the onboard graphics processing allows for resolutions of up to 2560x1600. The included VGA, DVI and Display Ports offer options for simultaneous multi-screen viewing versatility and compatibility with a wide range of display types for added convenience. Combined with up to 32GB of DDR3 1333/1600 system memory and SATA storage, three SATA6.0Gb/s and four SATA 3.0Gb/s, the IMBM-Q67A offers system integrators a chance to harness cutting edge technology in a compact and scalable form factor.

Its durable long-life cycle system accommodates temperatures from 00C to 600C and robust expandability with two PCI, one PCI-E (x4) as well as a PCI-E (x16), which supports much greater graphics processing speed for users who need high-performance add-on graphic cards to fulfill the high-end requirements from current imaging applications. Included as well are two onboard Gigabit Ethernet ports for safer and faster network communication with WOL and PXE support.

With its backwards compatibility, this low power consumption Micro-ATX board offers robust innovations without affecting customer’s legacy investments, making it an excellent choice when performing incremental system upgrades.

Whenever Microsoft Windows platform is used, customers can easily create their own user interface without additional coding, simply by downloading AAEON’s Hi-Safe program. The IMBM-Q67A supports all common operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux Fedora.
