IAR Systems to launch new tools for ARM Cortex-M3 debugging

IAR Systems will make three significant announcements at the Embedded World 2009 Exhibition and Conference, 3rd-5th March 2009, in Nuremberg, Germany. One of the first trace debuggers for ARM Cortex-M3 cores will be demonstrated. The IAR J-Trace tool connects to the PC host running Windows via USB and integrates seamlessly into IAR Embedded Workbench for plug-and-play operation.

IAR Systems’ first starter kit for the NXP LPC17xx family will also be on show. IAR KickStart Kit for LPC1766 contains all the necessary hardware and software for application design, development, integration and testing.

IAR will also be announcing a new product in partnership with LEGO Group, relating to the NXT Intelligent Brick for the LEGO MINDSTORMS robotic building system. An interesting and entertaining demonstration is planned.
