Evaluation board suits wireless power and charging applications

Availability and full design support capabilities for an evaluation board for wireless power transfer applications from GaN Systems is announced by Richardson RFPD.The GSWP050W-EVBPA evaluation board is designed to support and expedite the innovation of wireless power transfer systems.

The evaluation board uses GaN Systems’ GS61004B E-HEMTs in a 50W, 6.78MHz class EF2 power amplifier.

The evaluation board is well-suited for wireless power and charging applications in consumer, industrial and automotive markets, including items like power tools, toys, professional microphones, hand-held point-of-sale devices and household robots.

Key features include, constant current mode, push-pull, 100V / 45A, 15mOhm GaN E-HEMTs and high speed GaN driver.
