Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, has announced they have been selected to supply embedded computers to a medical original equipment manufacturer
(OEM) that specializes in diagnostics solutions. The value of the six-month contract is about 1.5M USD.
The Eurotech Sphere II will allow the customer to meet market demand and extend the lifecycle of chemistry analyzers using ARM technology. Used to test for diseases in just minutes, these products connect to a laboratory information management system that collects all results into an electronic medical record.
