Digitizer drivers for MATLAB now support Linux
Accessing digitizer products from MATLAB is a common setup to directly work with acquired data with a powerful mathematical tool. For years the German manufacturer Spectrum GmbH offered and supported MATLAB drivers for all his products.
As tAll features of the cards - single cards with one channel only as well as synchronized systems with more than 100 synchronous channels and 1 MS/s sampling speed - can be fully programmed by the Spectrum MATLAB driver. A standard setup for MATLAB customers is the simulation of data and replay with the Spectrum arbitrary waveform generators (one to four channels 125 MS/s 14 bit resolution) or acquisition of data using the powerful functions for detailed data analysis of MATLAB.
Driven by multiple customer requests Spectrum has enhanced his MATLAB support to also support MATLAB for Linux. Both MATLAB drivers, Windows and Linux, are available free of charge with new purchases and can be downloaded freely for already shipped products. This and the complete free available SDK consisting of drivers for Windows and Linux, API examples, MATLAB and LabVIEW drivers as well as a base version of Spectrums own software SBench 6, including lifetime updates and bug fixes for all software and firmware are part of the support strategy of Spectrum.
A 2-years manufacturer warranty is standard for all Spectrum hardware products. Drivers, software and firmware updates are available free of charge as well as the support given directly by the developer engineers themselves.
