New features in version 5.2 include the introduction of Qt Cloud Services, which facilitates the whole lifecycle of connected and data-driven Qt applications. Its first offering is Enginio data storage and user management. Qt 5.2 also includes an updated JavaScript engine and Scene Graph renderer. These improve the functionality and performance of Qt Quick QML, a declarative UI development language for creating intuitive, highly-intensified graphics on desktop, embedded and mobile operating systems. It also features Qt Creator 3.0, the Qt integrated development environment, and positioning, Bluetooth and NFC modules.
Qt 5.2 supports 15 leading operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, embedded Linux, embedded Android, Windows Embedded, VxWorks, QNX Neutrino and INTEGRITY, Android, iOS, BlackBerry, and SailFish. Enhancing desktop support, version 5.2 includes Qt Windows Extras and Qt Mac Extras, which allow integration with platform specific functionality on Windows and Mac OS X respectively.
