This new line, which has a standardised common interface, will be handled by Solid State’s Connectivity Division who will be telling comms designers that by adding FieldServer’s ProtoCessor footprint into a PCB design and providing a standardized TTL data interface product, they can provide compatibility with a broad range of serial and Ethernet protocols.
The ProtoCessor modules relieve engineering and marketing from committing to a single protocol and from having to maintain skills in multiple protocols. FieldServer’s extensive range of protocol drivers will enable the support of both current changes to existing protocols and the implementation of future protocols.
