Bytec Group launches Embedded Division Providing a Turn-key Solution to Product Development, Design and Manufacture

Bytec Group Limited and its vertical subsidiaries, including Bytec Medical, Bytec Systems and RAFI GB have formed a new division; Bytec Embedded, to provide industry-leading turn-key services to the embedded marketplace.

Under the leadership of newly appointed Divisional Manager, Andy Stevens, Bytec Embedded will provide seamless access to all of the Bytec Group’s expertise in circuit board design, product development, electro-mechanical build and industrial design solutions.

Stevens brings many years of experience in the embedded market, having previously worked for Trident Displays, Abacus Embedded and Avnet Embedded. Commenting at the introduction of Bytec Embedded, Stevens said: “Our organisation already encounters a number of enquiries from the embedded market. Using our UK and Far Eastern divisions I have no doubt that our investment in establishing Bytec Embedded will prove to be a successful venture for our group and our customers.”

A significant differentiator for Bytec Embedded and its customers will be that all of the resources of the Bytec Group will be available to every customer, without the need for external contract manufacturers or design houses. Using the company’s efficient and proven internal communications even off-shore resources such as Bytec Systems Taiwan are seamlessly integrated in to the process.

Bytec Group’s CEO, Bernard Mifsud, said: “The embedded market plays well to our strengths, having brought numerous products to market through our vertical divisions it is a natural progression for us to extend our expertise to the embedded community at large.”
