The kit is supplied with: the RP6V2 robot; a CD with software, user manual and sample programs; a 10-pin connector; a USB connector cable; a USB programmer interface; a high speed battery charger; and an RC5 remote control.
The RP6V2 robot features an ATMEGA32 8-bit RISC MCU with 8 MIPS and 8MHz clock, a USB interface for easy programming and communication and two 7.2V DC motors. Receiving IR codes in RC5 format from the included remote control, the robot integrates light, collision, speed and IR-obstacle sensors and provides a powerful tank drivetrain to negotiate steep ramps and obstacles.
